Law

Law is a system of rules and guidelines, typically enforced through institutions and governmental authority, that governs the behavior of individuals and organizations within a society. It serves to regulate conduct, maintain order, resolve disputes, and protect rights and freedoms. Laws can be established by legislatures (statutes), interpreted by courts (case law), or enforced by administrative agencies, and they may vary widely between different jurisdictions. The overarching goal of law is to promote justice, ensure fairness, and uphold the rights of individuals while balancing the interests of society as a whole.
